A few things before you go

to know.
What is Champoluc like?
An Alpine village in the Monte Rosa area, with mountain huts, glacier lakes and spectacular peaks. Once a crossroads for travellers through the Alps, it’s now a playground for hikers, cyclists and mountain lovers in summer and winter. Monte Rosa is the second-highest massif in the Alps after Mont Blanc, with numerous 4,000-metre peaks in the surrounding area. Lifts normally run in summer; 2027 operating dates are to be confirmed.
What should I pack?
Hiking shorts and trousers, light and warm layers, a waterproof shell, good hiking shoes or boots, sunglasses, sun protection, a hat and swimwear. Bring casual dinner clothes and something fabulous for Friday’s Met Gala — Alpine Edition. A detailed packing list will follow closer to departure.
How do activities work?
Tell us what interests you and we’ll create the final programme. Some activities will be free, others will have a participant cost. Most require no previous experience. Difficulty ratings, equipment requirements and booking details will help you choose what suits you.
How do we get around?
Champoluc is compact, with many places accessible on foot or by local transport. Rafting and glacier skiing require travel further afield; group transport will be arranged where appropriate. Details are to be confirmed.
Full Week or Long Weekend?
Full Week: 29 August–5 September 2027, starting with the Kick-off Pasta Party. Long Weekend: 1–5 September 2027, arriving for the MagZ Pizza Party. Both options include the Friday birthday celebration. Rafting and glacier skiing are planned for Full Week guests only.
